I'm an Electrical and Electronics Engineering student passionate about innovation and technology across a wide range of fields. As a researcher at the CoNSeRT Lab, I contribute to projects involving virtual and augmented reality, autonomous systems, and real-time simulation.

Alongside my research and studies, I work at Micro Design as an Electronics and Software Engineer, where I tackle real-world challenges through design, development, and problem-solving across both hardware and software domains. I'm also active in a number of student-led initiatives and projects, holding leadership or managerial positions in several of them.

A high-precision ecosystem that automates vineyard monitoring by bridging cloud-based command with autonomous robotics. A central server pushes DJI MSDK v5 "Wayline" flight paths and launch commands to drones in the field, which fly autonomous missions to capture imagery and telemetry. Post-mission data syncs automatically into a SQL database, and a Meta Quest 3 Mixed Reality app renders a 3D digital twin of the vineyard — overlaying metrics like plant health and moisture onto the landscape for immersive, data-driven decisions.

A mixed-reality educational tool for training healthcare professionals in auscultation. Learners practice on virtual patients in realistic clinical scenarios, with real-time feedback on stethoscope placement and sound interpretation, plus customizable cases ranging from common heart and lung sounds to rare conditions. Haptic feedback simulates real stethoscope use, bridging theory and practice in a safe, repeatable, and scalable way.

An interdepartmental project for the Shell Eco-Marathon Autonomous Programming Competition, combining the CoNSeRT Lab (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) with the Poseidon Team (Mechanical Engineering). As Lead Researcher, I directed the scientific and technical work — real-time algorithm development and autonomous systems — to deliver a competitive, reliable self-driving solution for high-efficiency vehicles.

A compact urban vehicle powered by hydrogen fuel cells, designed for the Shell Eco-Marathon energy-efficiency competition. I lead the project as Electrical & Electronics Manager of the Poseidon Team, overseeing the powertrain and low-voltage electronics systems.

ORCA Prototype — Virtual Driver Training Environment

A driving simulator for the ORCA prototype vehicle. An embedded system converts real driver inputs (throttle, steering) into digital signals; a Simulink vehicle model simulates everything from aerodynamics to powertrain friction, wind speed, and road incline; and an Unreal Engine simulator projects a 3D environment onto the windscreen for an immersive experience. Submitted to the 2024 Shell Eco-Marathon Data & Telemetry Award.

Fisikon CNG Station — Cashier System Modernization

May 2024 — Nov 2024 · Micro Design

Retrofitted the automatic cashier system at PGCG's Fisikon compressed-natural-gas station (Anthousa, Attica) for compliance with Greece's new myDATA regulations. I designed a Python tool suite to bridge the legacy system with the provider's new REST API and handle the large volume of invoices and receipts it produced, combining REST APIs with PL/SQL queries driven from Python.
