Overview
Vitimax connects three worlds that don't normally talk to each other: a cloud command centre, an autonomous drone, and an immersive mixed-reality interface. A central server pushes DJI MSDK v5 "Wayline" flight paths and launch commands out to drones in the field, which then fly their missions autonomously to capture imagery and telemetry across the vineyard.
Once a mission completes, the captured data syncs automatically into a SQL database. A Meta Quest 3 mixed-reality application then renders a 3D digital twin of the vineyard, overlaying metrics such as plant health and soil moisture directly onto the landscape — turning raw flight data into immersive, spatial, data-driven decisions.
Highlights
- Cloud-to-drone command pipeline that dispatches autonomous Wayline missions and launch commands remotely.
- Fully autonomous flights capturing geo-referenced imagery and telemetry with no pilot in the loop.
- Automatic post-mission data sync into a structured SQL database.
- Meta Quest 3 digital twin that maps plant-health and moisture metrics onto a 3D model of the vineyard.
