Urban Concept Vehicle — Shell Eco-Marathon

May 2023 — Present · Poseidon Team · Electrical & Electronics Manager

A compact urban vehicle powered by hydrogen fuel cells, designed for the Shell Eco-Marathon energy-efficiency competition — where every watt counts and the electronics decide how far you get on a gram of hydrogen.

Hydrogen Fuel Cells Powertrain Low-Voltage Electronics Project Management

Overview

The Urban Concept car is the Poseidon Team's entry in the Shell Eco-Marathon — a competition that rewards squeezing the most distance out of the least energy. The vehicle is built around a hydrogen fuel-cell powertrain, where efficiency is won or lost in the electrical and control systems just as much as in the mechanics.

I lead the project as Electrical & Electronics Manager, overseeing the powertrain and the low-voltage electronics systems — from the fuel-cell power path to the control and monitoring electronics — and driving the design decisions that improve the vehicle's overall efficiency and reliability.
