Overview
PGCG's Fisikon compressed-natural-gas station in Anthousa, Attica ran an automatic cashier system that pre-dated Greece's myDATA e-invoicing regulations. Rather than rip out and replace the existing system, the task was to retrofit it for compliance — keeping the station running while making every invoice and receipt flow into the new regulatory framework.
I designed a Python tool suite that bridges the legacy system with the provider's new REST API and handles the large volume of invoices and receipts the station produces. The suite combines REST API calls with PL/SQL queries driven from Python, pulling transaction data from the legacy database and submitting it in the format the new system requires.
